Bund when night falls
DAISY | Shanghai | 12/20/2004 11:32:12 AM

Another place I personally prefered to stay at most weekend is Bund, especially at evening.(Lighting time 19:00~21:00)

Look the crown shape building! It is the Westin Hotel!

Xin Tian Di
DAISY | Shanghai | 12/20/2004 11:11:39 AM

If come to Shanghai, Xintiandi should not be missed, which located at the cross of Huaihai Rd and Fuxing Rd. There u will visit the shops, restaurants and bars built from Shikumen housing - Shanghai unique and traditional architecture. A totally different mood with Beijing Sanlitun.

See my pic about the traditional Shanghai resident architecture, and now is rare.

Transfer by the Metro
DAISY | Shanghai | 12/20/2004 10:40:47 AM

The metro ticket price is different according to how many stops you will take.
The People's Square stop is the largest stop, transfer stop at which Line 1 and Line 2 meet.

Metro in Shanghai
DAISY | Anhui | 12/20/2004 10:27:00 AM

Shanghai is the metropolis with very fast developing pace. And its metro system is also fast and convenient! "The main city scenery and shopping centres of Shanghai are along metro lines, so metro is a very convenient way for you to visit Shanghai."
And now it has 4 metro lines:
Line 1: from Shanghai Railway Station to Xinzhuang.
Line 2: from Zhongshan Park to Zhangjianggaoke
Line 3: also called the Light Rail Train, from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwanzhen
Line 5: from Xinzhuang to Minhang Develpment Zone
