It is a hilly city and you can not find anyone ride bicycle there, so never bring yours.

Although it is a modern capital city of China with wide streets and roads, getting around in the city is a big headace. There are too many private cars that the streets are always jammed. It took me one hour for half kilometer by taxi. Metro is a better choice. Tourist buses at Qian Men (Front Gate) can take you to most attractions in the city.
