Hello all, just visited the Beijing Zoo today Dec. 6th 2012, very sad, deplorable conditions, feel bad for the few animals they have there, all are kept in dirty conditions, any with glass to look through looks like they have not been cleaned inside or out in YEARS ! The grounds are kept nice and We would see them again but filth hurt our expectations, hope Lama Temple will be better

Me and my girlfriend visited Singapore Zoo last month (it's wonderful, really amazing), and we saw some P.R.C. visitors behaving, not very civilized... so we commented how poor animals must've been in mainland zoo's... after seeing your comment, I see we were right - unfortunately... :-(
