... enjoying an ice cream cone in Shu He Gu Zhen. Compared with Lijiang itself, it is a MUCH less publicised, and MUCH more attractive old town. Certainly modernised and touristified to some extent; but wander towards the outskirts, and you will find what you really came to see.
