Kwun Yum at Repulse Bay

On the southside of Hong Kong Island is the well-known Repulse Bay and Beach. From the Life Guard Terraces at Repulse Bay can be seen two large twin statues: one of Tin Hau (Queen of Heaven), and one of Kwun Yum (Guan Yin)or the Goddess of the Sea who is said to provide safety, security, ships, full nets, and prosperity each year to praying fishermen.
