On the Monte Fort

Adjacent to the Citadel of Sao Paulo do Monte is the Museu de Macau, which is located at the Monte Fort. The museum has been here since the beginning of the 17th century, and, like St. Peter's Church and the college, the Jesuits also built this ancient fortress. The grounds below the museum are absolutely inviting.
