I consider myself as quite adventurous, but even I have barriers and rats are far behind that line. I enjoy snakes or frogs, but I cant stand rats, neither as animals nor as food.
But I would guess the same idea of rats as red meat, whereas snakes and frogs have a chickeb flavour.

Can you aliken the taste of rat to some other animal?
I would guess they would be RED rather than WHITE meat ...
