If the unit is a foreign-funded enterprise, approval on foreign-funded enterprise and certificate on its allied annual inspection is to be presented; 
If the unit is an enterprise or public institution undertaking the state key projects or the state major scientific research projects, documents on the projects issued by competent authorities of government on provincial and ministry level are also needed;  
if the unit is a high-tech enterprise, certificate on high-tech enterprise is needed; 
If the unit is a state-encouraged foreign-funded enterprise, a letter of confirmation on the state-encouraged foreign-funded enterprises is to be presented; 
If the unit is a model foreign-funded enterprise, a letter of confirmation on model foreign-funded enterprise is needed; 
If the unit is an enterprise for product export with foreign investment, a letter of confirmation on enterprise for product export with foreign investment is needed;  
For family members accompanied of the above personnel, their valid passports and visas, as well as document on their kinship relation are to be presented. For instance, marriage certificate is needed if the applicant is a spouse of the above mentioned personnel; for his or her unmarried child(ren) under 18 years of age, the child(ren)’s birth certificates or certificate on parent-child relation should be presented; if it is of adoptive relation, a document on the adoption is to be presented.
