Obesity is predominantly in western countries mostly because of the availability of fast food establishments at every corner of every block in the US. Its easy to access as it is open 24 Hours, its cheap and its QUICK. Another is that most of us live a sedentary life style. Most own cars, we can pick up dinner through a window and if your too tired to walk around walmart, they got these scooters that are intended for the weak elderly to ride in, now can be used for the obese who have trouble walking.

That is why I believe those of us in the western countries see a huge part of our population obese is because its not a lifestyle that is forced upon you such as the conditions most face on a daily basis somewhere else such as those having to catch public transportation home and the economics of eating out than rather eating in.

The only thing I enjoy from these fast food industries is the all out war they have in advertisements and commercials which can be pretty hilarious.
