I agree with others here !! I think you may be better off to purchase your camera, either at a discount retail store in the AU, or maybe even via an on-line purchase. I know you do not have Wal-Mart in Australia (yet-ha ha) however, a similar discount outlet is the way to go. Also, I believe there is an on-line venue called ‘Dirt Cheap Cameras’ in the AU, which will ship within 24 hours.I purchased my Fuji-film S-3500 digital camera at a Wal-Mart store in my city; it is a 4.23 MPX camera with many features and is for the intermediate level user, and it utilizes an x-D memory card. I like this style camera because I have large hands and I can keep a good grip on the camera. I paid about US $300.00 for my camera, and another $19.00 for a Memory Card Reader, which plugs directly into the home computer. And as wocca stated, the card reader will come with a CD to integrate it to your computer. Then you can edit, store to your hard drive, and/or print your photos on your color printer if you wish. Or, you can just take the card from the camera to your local film processing center for fast prints and transfer to a CD, which then frees up your expensive memory card for new images. Have fun !! :) :)
