It is true that the US is a large nation which helps maintain momentum in the workl economy (as does Europe).  But growth is coming from China (and India and Russia to a lesser extent).  This makes China important to the world...it represents NEW trade and wealth.  It's size ensure the ret of the worls listens.

You want proof?  (now don't misunderstand the following as a criticism of China, it is not).  It is irrelevant whether a nation supports China's One Nation Policy - but it will say it does.  It will say this because it is required to to trade with China.  No nation can afford not to trade with China, therefore it will say the sun rises in the west if that is what is required.  THUS, we can see China has already achieved world power through it's economic might.  China is driving the current world economic growth.

Congratulations...and thanks... I am from Australia and our wealth and low cost of living is dependant on China.  Later today we will have a new Prime Minister, one who believes in Asia and who is fluent in Mandarin....so I look forward to this relationship continuing.
