April 27th Hiking at Suzhou LaoFeng Spring Colors Extravaganza!!!

Grab your camera and come join us as we head to the beautiful LaoFeng Nature Reserve in Suzhou. We will enjoy a moderately difficult hike beginning from the entrance to an ancient burial site and temple complex nestled in a recess between the mountains.

Chongming is China’s 3rd largest island and a major supplier of fresh vegetables to Shanghai. On Friday, enjoy a lazy ferry ride to the island and a leisurely afternoon exploring the islands forest park. In the evening, learn the basics of the popular Chinese game “Ma Jiang”. On Sunday, enjoy a ride through local farms and villages, and after lunch learn about the Island’s fascinating history at its local museum.
