I am in quality assurance now. I don’t face clients. I face directors, CEO, stockholders, auditors and people who work on the floor when I am checking things out. Even that, there is a very relaxed atmosphere at work. The company doesn’t require strict dress code if you are just doing your day to day job. I wear leather shoes and casual attires at work. Nothing stuffy or rigid. We can wear slacks or even jeans as long as they are presentable, not those deconstructed types. We don’t wear jeans during big meetings and conferences though. During audits we have to look formal and absolutely no jeans. We wear the flip flops and shorts only during weekends, that is if we have to come by for about a couple of hours or so especially during summer. I have my own office room at work. Who’s gonna see me on weekends? LOL!
