No I don't think that match had any influence on his game at Wimbledon. He lost due to a combination of factors that we have mentioned plus the poor light conditions near the end when they were almost playing in the dark. Apparently it was much darker than what was broadcast on TV. They can increase the lighting for the TV viewers (but not for the players). It will be interesting to see how Federer manages to plays at the U.S. Open. For me, his biggest hurdle now is trying to keep focused for every point, the entire match, like Nadal can do. [/quote]
