Canadaguy, tennis playing ability and fashion career are two different matters. However, if you can't deal with these two matters very well. One will definitely affect the other. When Kournikova started her career, people were attracted by her beauty as well as her tennis playing skills. Later on, she had modeling/fashion as her prior career and playintg tennis became her sideline. How sad it was! If Sharapova can't deal with these two matters, she would have trouble in her tennis career.

BTW, I too have a shoulder injury (though not as serious as Maria's) that I got from playing tennis, so I know how debilitating it can be, and what she must be going through now.

Are you ok, Canadaguy? Shoulder injury seems be very common among those tennis players. You see, Federer suffers from the shoulder injury too.

In the end, when Maria's tennis career will be over, you will find that she will have accomplished a lot more on and off the court than Kournikova has.

Definitely. She has already accomplished a lot more than kournikova has. I am just worried that she might move her focus from tennis to other things. Too many business activities are no good for the players.
