 If you have read all I have written, it's obvious, tell her what you think and feel, love is truth, and honesty won't hurt you or the "special lady",  with Love there has to be respect, both yours and hers, and  she will at least have the chance to give you an answer, to show you her thoughts on the matter.
Take a deep breath, smile and tell her you coward. Fear of rejection is a mortal crime, go for it.
