Yes, it does influence local culture; no, it may not necessarily be all positive. And it could even be downright damaging for the people and country.

"Globalization" so far, has helped the business sector more than the people - companies today are far richer than they could ever dreamed; while the people are being exploited by the governmental agencies, the system, and the business sector. With whole population have been... are being... and will continue to be sidelined - only a minority segment of the population reap the wealth generated by "globalization".

Governments, society leaders, businesses, everybody talk so much about preserving, saving the environment; and at the same time, invent, develop and produce the very things that destroy the environment.
