Otherwise, as Robert says, you cannot work..... getting a Z visa would cancel your student visa...BUT, there are a few exceptions like working for a foreign funded company so that financially it is the same as being employed overseas. As students often do 'work experience' (in UK English, and I think that's the same as the American term of 'internship') so being creative, with the help of your foreign student office, u might be able to work sth out.  Which takes us full circle to 'with permission'!!

If you do work illegally, you will probably not get caught, and if you do get caught suffer only a warning but there is always a small danger of being kicked.  I would take the risk (but of course, I am not advising you to!)[/quote]
