Thread: Two months travel in China - Ideas? Tips? Recommendations?

Dali(another exaggerated place, but since you pass by) - 1/2 to 1 day
Tiger Leaping Gorge - 2 days
Yangtze River Cruise - 2 to 4 days depends how you do it
Congqing - 1 - 2 days(not a must but since you must be there if you do the Yangtze River)
Guilin & Yangshuo - 3 - 5 days(a must do in 2 months)
Zhangjiajie & Fenghuang - 3 - 4 days
Dragonback Rice Terrace(Longsheng area) - 2 - 3 days(not a must but if you are near)
Kashgar and nearby area - 4 to 7 days I guess(i have not been there)

The above will take you around 2 months and no one will dispute me those are the top sights but depending on your interests, you may cut some and add others like:

Wuyuan(top ancient village) and Pingyao(top ancient town)
Hong Kong & Macau - 3 - 4 days
Guangzhou(don't miss the NIGHT river cruise) - not a must but if you pass by land to HK

China is not well known for any sea resorts but if you must visit one - Hainan Island.

Be prepared to meet the Rudest, Roughest & Rawest people on earth:
Here are their top 5 bad behaviours sights that you are bound to see in a 2 weeks visit: 
1)They speak loud(esp with their mobil phone while arriving near a destination)
2)They could spit near you while walking near you
3)They could squat in public toilet door unclosed
4)They will rob you of a taxi
5)They will rush in the subway trains before the others alight

I am not exaggerating, everywhere in the big cities, their government put up signs to remind the people to be more CIVILISED.

But don't think they are BAD, they are FRIENDLY and HELPFUL people and they like to share time with tourists.
