Using technology to off-side judgements would be a very bad idea. Changing off-side rules back to old would be better one. The rule was changed to give more goals, which has not come true. It has only made it more difficult to use.

For example, I think it was in Eng - Ger, a long pass to Rooney. Rooney was at off-side. However, some defender touched the ball and Rooneys off-side situation was cut off. Off-side was flagged though.

Today the linesman must:
1. Control the off-side line that is moving and changing by a second.
2. Register the exact time of a player touching the ball when he makes his pass.
3. Compare the touching time and what he saw a 1/10 of a second earlier in the off-side line.
4. Controll if the off-sided player is making a move to play the ball. (what is considered as the move?)
5. Control the ball, what happens to it while it is flying or rolling to its destination.

Who the hell can do this without making mistakes every now and then!!!???

Earlier, he only needed to see th eline and compare it to the sound he heard when the ball was kicked. Off-side, flag up, no off-side, continue playing...
