Thanks Mr JCNILE123 for your informative information. You probably misunderstood my intention. I didn't mean that American people are unfriendly to China because the symbol of Dragon has a cultural connotation of being evil in a general sense. I mean that there is only a cultural difference (generally speaking) in understanding the same animal species. Actually, perhaps, these animals( Dragon, eagle,or bear) themselves are neither evil nor good in a certain sense. As national symbols, we human being attached cultural connotation to these animals, which reflects different races worshiped different animals. That is alll what I wanted to say. I fully agree with you on the point that American people are true friends of Chinese people. I have met numerous friendly and sincere friends from the US. They all are quite nice and kind. I'd like to let you know that Chinese people are also friendly to American people. Despite of the inevitable big cultural differences between us, Chinese people has never held any antagonism or hostility against American people. "On my trips to China I found out how big a difference there is as the common Chinese people learn that we we’re from the US of A as common I’m my self." Well, I am in favor of this statement. It is true that there is a big difference. However, Mr JCNlE123, what is Chinese people's reaction when they learnt that you are from the USA? Probably, it's a kind of curiosity and admiration. Chinese people may think:" this man comes from the most developped and powerful country, so what is the life like for this man from the other side of this planet." A sense of curiosity. Nothing else. "I, respectfully disagree with you, and perhaps you need to do a little search about it, (I don't think the US of A is the west on it's on, but as far as the Us of A, concerns, WE the people of the US of A think that dragons are very friendly, and 99% are good.) Now, as you say the west do you said the US of A?" As to this point, I want to tell you Mr JCNLE123, that the division of East and West is a general politilical division. It is not my fabrication. The political or to say ideological division has its long history, which has been accepted by most individuals or groups of international community. Maybe you are right to say that "the people of the US of A think that dragons are very friendly, and 99% are good". However, dragon has ever had a negative image in the West for a long time. Perhaps, things have changed a lot. My statement is based on an outdated stereotype?
