During the "cold war" situation with Russia (1950's-80's(?)), Russia's military capabilities were exaggerated  (to some extent) for the benefit of U.S. military suppliers. (A "military -industrial complex" scenario)
It's my understanding that before and during WW2 some U.S. manufactures were indirectly aiding and supplying the Axis powers. Were they ever fully exposed and charged with criminal activity? Hell no.
So,my main comment (correct or not correct) is that some of the possible military global conflicts are hype and B.S. and are to be taken with a "grain of salt"[/quote]
