Yinduffy, I agree with you on most part of your statement. A universal phenomenon is that various traditional cultural paradigms are being challenged by the pop culture. That is to say, some distinguished traditional culture assets are on the verge of extinction. Pop culture relying on its powerful propaganda gains the upper hand over traditional culture.

I favor your opinion that it is parents' responsibility to guide their children to the right track. Well, to have religious training might be a good way in the western countries, but in China, an atheistic country, religious preaching has never been considered to be a ideal way to protect traditional culture.
