Here is a direct D train (D 310) from Hangzhou to Beijing. It leaves at 20:15, taking around 11.5 hours. The second soft seat: CNY 353. Soft sleeping berth: CNY 730/820. Actually, there are other trains from Hangzhou to Beijing like Z10, T282/283, K102 and T32. The train is much safer than the bus. If you insist taking bus, you can go to Hangzhou East Bus Station. It costs more than CNY 300 and takes 15-16 hours.[/quote]
