I believe the people posting questions on this forum about the Chinese green card are interested in permanent residency, which is possible, though not exactly popular. They want to reside here indefinitely, and are not, as you suggest, simply seeking permission to visit or work. As there are more and more expat-local unions here, the demand for Chinese green cards will rise.[/quote]
