This happened about 6 years ago, adult cautions are classed as spent after 5 years. I have a work placement arranged in China teaching english as a Foreign language and am unsure whether i have to disclose it on the Chinese Visa application, my new employerr in China does not know about the spent caution and they have advised me to apply for a Tourist Visa and they will convert it to a Work Visa once i am over there. Section 4 on the Visa application asks 'Do you have a criminal record in China or any other country'.

Does anyone know if i have to declare this?? Any help would be much appreciated.[/quote]
