Dave, in this regard, please read carefully my initial response to the question:  I simply answered it with my opinion and provided my reason.  Simple, and straightforward, was my answer to the topic.

Dave, for you and maybe some others here, who are not familiar with American cultural issues, what was being inferred here, was a ‘coded’ message, (a slur) that my answer was one that was very feminine and soft in tone and view; therefore I must be a man (San Francisco male) who is Gay and one who could only relate to his male ‘partner’ in such a way. Dave, this was a very personalized insult to me as a man.

This is the reason I then responded in the way I did and I defend my right to do so, under these circumstances.

You must understand, a man of my age, my size, and my occupation, would never/ever let another man infer something like this in person.  In fact, this never could occur in person.  Accordingly, to have some anonymous individual from my own nation of birth, who has such difficulty with sentence structure, punctuation and spelling within his own language; launch an attack on me, for merely stating my position, was absolutely unacceptable to me.

And even today, in the latest post, he wishes to personalize more, by questioning/joking about my health and even taking the liberty to comment on the appearance of my wife, whom he does not know and never will !!!

Last, look also at his response to female member May001.  He is also dismissive of her point of view and in a very chauvinistic manner. Moreover, he even offers that her response is not so beautiful....as she is.

I rest my case.
