I got community service and a suspended sentence instead. The problem is it took years to take me to court so the original offences are actually from 2009/2010. To cut a long story short my family got me involved with their business.

The reason I'm going back to university is to make a new life for myself and by the time I'm going to study abroad it will have been spent in the UK. I'm so upset that this will get in the way.

I'm just really concerned as this will be a longer visa that it will get in the way of things for me. Also I don't want to study at uni two years then realise I can't graduate because I can't go to China!

I may consider working in China in the future not teaching though. Any advice?
