British humor has so many levels and is just genious. British comedys are often clever, witty, and darn hilarous. Its very rare that any comedys we produce are to be taken to seiously, and I don’t think a lot of nations get that. Plus we use a lot of slang that people may find hard to understand. My cousins came to visit from the US and were amazed at how ‘rude’ we were to one anouther. In other words they were surprised at how much we took the piss out of each other! Its just the way we are and even though the stuff we say may have truths behind it they are done with affection and not to be taken seriously. We use Smut and innuendon, satire, absurd, macabre, surrel and caotic, humor in everyday life, wars between adults and childrenn, the class system, lovable rounge, embaressement of social ineptitnude, making fun of ourselfs and forginers with affection, sarcasim and bullinging (never to be taken seriously), parodies of stereotypes, slapstick, practical jokes, and tolerance or affectinon for the eccentric. British humour is the best as it has everything and is normally clever, and nothing is taboo. American humor is okay but only on one level, its to slapstick and the jokes are not normally very clever. I think us Brits have been through a lot and are humor came from our ability to deal with it all. British humour is the funniest!n
