Most of the poorest people in America live even better than the kings of ancient times. And we live without fear of being attacked when we walk to the store alone at night, or bombed while we sleep in our beds. Our social services and charities help more people than we can even count. Supermarkets have so many different foods to choose from that we are never threatened by malnutrition. Almost everyone is educated enough to read and write, even if it's only at the fourth grade level. We don't even know what hunger is and the vast majority of us have only experienced war through the media.

Do you seriously think people can be happier without any safe, warm place to sleep or enough food and water in a steady supply to never fear malnutrition or hunger? Maybe you should go and try living in a cave with a spear, bow and arrows. ~ RAZZ Van Winkle [mood7]
