Hi,friends, firstly wish everyone a happy Chinese new year!i'm wikee,20 years old:hug:,a college student in Beijing,a sunny and curious boy with many interests.i know that many foreign friends in Beijing love Chines culture very much, some "old China hand" even know more about my own traditional culture, which makes me touched and delighted.Surely i deeply love our culture, and i'm glad to help foreiners to know more about Chinese culture. So for this coming Spring Festival,i'm looking for one or two foreign boys to have a tour with me to my hometown,a charming and heavenly small town--YA 'AN.YA 'AN,i can't love her more(i guess everyone has the same feeling with his hometown~).It's so beautiful a town, but here i can only show a profile of her briefly:YA 'AN,in Sichuan Province,Southwest China. This small town is near Chengdu, for its poetical environment and admirable air condition,it's called "Chengdu's backgarden" and the "natural oxygen bar".Is it cool?Well, compared with there,Beijing's air condition is as bad as in hell~Still keep your eyes wide, friend, there are more cool things: --YA 'AN is really hometown for our "National Treasure"--Giant Pandas,'cause the first Giant Panda in history was discovered and named just in YA'AN,by the French missionary Armand David in 1869. --Like Chinese tea?Good, and YA'AN is the place of origin of Chinese tea culture from the Han Dynasty, famed for a holy tea mountain there. --My hometown has a romantic name "Rain City",if you ask me why,ha ha~i wanna you to find the answer during our tour there by yourself.OK,let me say about my plan:i wanna go with 1 foreign young male (two is also ok) who is interested in Chinese culture. We will tour not only in YA 'AN.first from Beijing to Chengdu(Ha~miss my dear grandma in Chengdu~),so that we can go to Leshan City,150 km from Chengdu,to see the biggest Buddah statue(built in the Tang Dynasty more than 1200 years ago)in the world. We'll spend one day in Leshan. Then we'll come back to Chengdu, spending one day touring on the Qingcheng Mountain,a well-known cultural&historical resort for the Chinese Taoism. If we still have time,i'll be surely happy to guide you around in Chengdu, this fascinating city, enjoying the genuine Sichuan Hot Pot,:Dha ha~and see some places of interest. The most most important,is the great dinner on new year's eve(Feb.18,2007),wow,;Pthat i have been waiting for one year!!On that day,Chinese new year's eve, you'll see lots of people. in my big family. You'll be expected as one of our family members, and i'm sure you'll know at that time, how important his family means to a Chinese.
