On June 29,2008, the reward was revoked and Zhou Zhenglong was accused of swindling.

The “South China tiger photos” scandal has been in controversy and unsettled for more than half a year. Yesterday, the Shaanxi Government announced the result of the investigation into the scandal. The police said the photo was fake. 13 local officials were punished for involving the scandal.
