3. On Oct.29, Qihoo launched another software called “扣扣保镖” to help QQ users avoid the ads in QQ and protect their privacy. Tencent condemned Qihoo on the same day. On Nov. 13, Tencent announced that all computer users who installed 360 anti-virus couldn’t use QQ software unless they unstalled 360 anti-virus.

Then 360 sent a message to its users via pop-up window, pleading the users to stop using QQ. Some web users reported that 360 had already blocked QQ pets and QQ zone.

I am a user of both QQ and 360 anti-virus. I strongly oppose they just use ordinary users’ desktop to fight. Anyway, the users are the victims of their catfight. If they go on fighting each other, they will definitely lose their users. And some other companies will gain benefits, like MS who has its own IM—MSN.

If you were me, what were you going to do?

Choice 1: uninstall 360 and keep using QQ.
Choice 2: uninstall QQ, keep using 360 and then find another IM instead. 
Choice 3: uninstall both QQ and 360, change another anti-virus software and IM.
