Hi,
If you are bent on watching table tennis in China, then you should come in September. 2 tournaments, the China Open and Volkswagen Open, have been scheduled to be played in September in Wuxi and Changchun, respectively.

I have just visited the website and read about the new Olympic ruling to restrict participation to only the top 3 players from every participating country at the coming Olympic Games in Athens. Kong Linghui will not be able to defend his title at the Games, which I think, is sad. Well, maybe I should give the sport a miss at this Olympic Games if it is losing the quality of play.

BTW, I am also very fond of the sport. Thanks, you have just given me an idea about what I might also add to my itinerary when I visit Beijing, which should be soon. :)
