I am planning to visit Taiwan during my visit in China. When I try to re-enter China do I need a visa again (as in Hong Kong)?

Many Thanks

Yes, any time you leave China for another country or SAR you will need a re-entry vis or multiple entry visa for China.
Visiting Tibet, Hongkong and Macau allthough officially part of China now for the most part over 5 years for the most recent, still require re-entry permis.

Tiawan is currently not considered part of China on Visa entry isssues. I wonder when that will happen.

For Tibet it has been more than 40 years
Hongkong nearly 8 and Macau
More than 5 years.
