A recent serious TV program has reported that 'dragon scientists' now suggest that dragons really existed and that they could fly and spit fire. This is still a theory but supported by some good evidence including the remains of one.

It is easy to see how western culture has them as 'bad' but I wonder why Chinese culture has them as good. Maybe it is because people often make gods of things they fear - then over time the fear has lessened and the dragons become revered.
