Mobile Phone Prices, Cheap or Expensive?

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me if Mobile phones are cheaper in China than western countries? and If you know of any good mobile shops in Shanghai?thxs

Hi Johnnyturtle,
I am not sure about the prices of mobile phones in Western countries, but I guess they won't be more expensive than that in China.
The most popular brands are Nokia, Motorola, Sumsung, etc, and a few domestic brands, like Amoisonic... excuse me I can't remember others by now, the price ranges from a few hundred yuan to as expensive as 7~8 thousand yuan. It usually depends on what kind of brand you choose.
