Nanning - Detian Waterfall

Of all my time on this website I have never heard anybody write about the Detian waterfall near vietnam. The pictures look amazing and it sounds to be the 2nd best in the world. Im looking to go very soon. Has anyone been there recently?

I didn't hear about it before. What do you mean 2nd best - the second most beautiful or the scale of it is the 2nd largest?

Detian waterfall bestrides China and Vietnam,I think KYLE said "the second" means that the waterfall is the second multinational waterfall in the world!The first is Iguazu waterfall between Brazil and Argentina:-)

But I think the top three waterfall in the world is Niagara Waterfall(US and Canada)\Victoria Waterfall(Zambia and Zimbabwe)\Iguazu(Brazil and Argentina)!

Sorry, haha I guess I could have been more clear.
The worlds second largest transnational waterfall. Niagra falls is the biggest. Its funny, I lived in Canada for 18 years and missed one of the highlights.

I've been looking at Detian for a while too and would love to visit there sometime. A friend has just come in thru vietnam although not there but would be neat to cross the border ofr a day or so if possible. They say you can accidently walk across!!!!

Did you have a look at my trip to Beihai? Nice place but too quiet for you I think. Nanning would be the place.

Hey man,

That picture was taken in Vietnam. We found this excellent place to relax. The mountains are all dried mud and the ocean in the background has a spectacular beach.
