Hello,

We will be in Shanghai over the weekend of June 26-28. I am a professor who taught English classes in Taiwan for the academic year (1985-86).
There is only a short time to visit a great city and its environs so perhaps you will make some suggestions. Unfortunately my Chinese is E'dee'en'de'en though I have been working on relearning all of the phrases that I ever learned. By the time I get to Shanghai I will have spent three weeks traveling through China by train. Beijing to Novosibersk to Almaty to Urumqi to xian to Shanghai.
