I guess I will take the Ferry from HK to Zhong Shan, but I could not find any info on how to get from Zhong shan city to Guzhen Town. any help? also, looking for a hotel in Guzhen, 4star or so, reasonable price. Any recomandation or website that I can take a look at it? What is the best way to go from Guzhen or Zhong Shan to Guang Zhou? Train? Bus? Please help. My trip will take place in two weeks from the USA.

ANNA Points: Join Date: Mar 30, 2004 Status: Offline	Hard to find any information about Guzhen. I just found that it would take about 75 minutes from Hong Kong or Macau to Guzhen via ferry. Maybe ou can find something about this on shipside. Or there must be the bus from Zhongshan city to Guzhen.

Hey,

I lived in Zhongshan for a year, and taught occasionally in Guzhen. The way I always got to Guzhen was by catching the no. 8 bus from near the Fuhua Hotel. Its about a 45 minute ride, but they usually have the new A/C buses on that route, so its not too bad. (I hate buses, but it was pretty tolerable.) A taxi caught at the same place should run anywhere from 35 - 60rmb, depending on how hard you bargain.
To get to Guangzhou from Zhongshan, you can catch a coach at almost the same place as you catch the bus to Guzhen...just on the other side of the street. that's about an hour and 45 minutes, and costs around 35 rmb. Zhongshan has no train station, nor does Guzhen.
