Hello, anyone has any comments/advices re touring China with a small child (less than 3yrs)? I have heard that it might be too much for a little kid to handle all the walking/climbing activities, and that the weather might be either too hot or cold! Thanks for your response in advance!

I have a few questions for you:
1, When are you going to travel in China;
2, Which part of the country will you choose, for China is huge, some places have pleasant climate all year round;
3, Is it your child's first long-distance trip?

Hello Rita and California,
Thanks very much for responding. Here are the As to your Qs:
1. To China in Mid Oct05.
2. Eastern part, from Shanghai to Beijing and some places in between.
3. Yes, his "longest" trip yet has been to D.C. @2yrs. old.

Has not decided on the trip yet, though. It is a "tour" and I heard that due to its nature the schedule of activities could be too hectic and aggressive for little kids to handle?!
