Hiya, My father is travelling to Shanghai on a business trip soon and wants to take my mother with him. My mother suffers from MS and most of the time has to get around in a wheelchair, does anyone know of any organisations etc that would cater for her to take her on tours etc during her stay? any ideas/comments are most welcome. Thanks!!

My apologies Dvious. I tried to post this days ago but just notice that it was no on the thread.

I understand your concern. My father only had one leg but managed to traves a lot. Walking long distances was always too much for him so he would sit and wait while my mother did all the walking, but I sometimes think he had just as interesting a time chatting with locals who were curious about his leg and his very orange beard.

I did a serch and this was one operator that came up. While not in Shanghai specifically they should be able to help.

Conditions and facilities for wheelchairs are improving in China all the time.

I hope this is of help
