Does anyone know of a good place to eat sushi in Shanghai? Preferably a buffet that is not too expensive (around $10 - $15 or 80RMB – 120RMB a person)? Please include name of restaurant, address and phone number. Thanks!

63273451. I hope they speak English, but it seems that they only speak Chinese and Japanese. You can ask the hotel serviceman to help you call them.

I can recommend a couple: Sono in Gubei is 99RMB (but no beer or sake - and no English menus).

Hatsuhana on Hongmei Lu - 168RMB

Go Sushi (on Huaihai Lu) - from 128-158RMB depending on what time you eat; and

Genji Sushi (on Huaihai Lu) - 165RMB (if you call ahead for reservations).

For all addresses and phone #'s go to:

www.shanghai-eats.com

They have all Shanghai restaurant info.
