There is an Indian Restaurant called Alibaba's on Weijin Nan Lu. This is different from the Alibaba's most people associate with Tianjin, (that one's near Nankai). I believe it is actually owned by Indians. Therefore, it might be a place to check out if you're looking for Indian music. Actually, the Alibaba's near Nankai might not be a bad choice either, as tons of international students from Nankai, Tianda, and Tianjin Medical University hang out there, and so there's bound to be at least one or two from India who could clue you in on how to find them.
