yes, to disscuss with all and share the experience to all is very funny :)
I think i can recommend a very very good hotel for the travellers to Beijing which has good public praise ...
It is name is HomeInn, a multiple hotel group, and has many branches around Beijing
Qianmen/ChaoyangPark/Sanlihe/Xizhimen and so on
and the price is very reasonable, only less than double bed standard room/22$/day.
But the condition is just a contrast to the price. 24 hours hot water, very polite waiter, tasty food and warm bed :D
When I came to Beijing for working,I lived there for about 2 months, just the same as its name I just felt I was not far from home then
----------------
Any body wanna know more about this, just send me msgs.

:D I'm not working in that hotel
I'm profession in telecom/mobile gaming
---
Yes I almost cost 10,000RMB for the first two months staying in that hotel
But it is not dear, I mean the service and the condition worth the money
Even now, I would guide some friends there to have dinner and tell me my story about this hotel :D

Do you mean Gambling ? Is that how you can afford a room @ $22US per day.
Just a littel expensive for a lot of travelers.
But why not post the information in Beijing -travel Tips- Accommodation for anyone who is searching. It won't be long before this thread gets buried and too hard to find.

An idiom....

"It's a tough place to live.."
meaning it's a great and easy place to live
