Originally, we were talking about women's ARMPIT HAIR, or Kyle started the post on this purpose. It's the people's personal business if keeping their natural hairs (especially their armpit hair) or not, but not necessarily mean to expose them in public.

It's sad that nowadays the overwhelming majority of women do shave their armpits – not because some people like female A. H. but because society shouldn't dictate to people (no matter of what sex) what to do with their bodies, what to shave and what not to shave. If somebody considers armpit, pubic and other types of hair sexy, no-one should interfere and press them.

I think China must be one of those rare countries where you see women whether young or old with armpit hair. Give them sometime and you will miss women armpit hair in China. I belive that some of them have even gone "brazilian". Fasshion catch on fast in this country.

In Chinese culture, only prostitutes and show girls (actresses, singers, etc) shaved their hair. No respectable women would shave their armpit hair. Since the opening up to the Western cultures, a lot of modern women are shaving their hair due to their influence

hahaha yes i seen a really hot chick waiting and the street for a ride and she stuck her arm up and waved at the taxi and she had alot of armpit hair

To my western eyes the picture of the very beautiful young woman with very thick hair under her arms was jolting. ...but there is nothing wrong with it...it's just that with so sweet a face it was a surprise.
