STLGIRL Points: Join Date: Sep 14, 2005 Status: offline	I just saw a preview for "Memiors of Geisha". There are Chinese actresses chosen to be the leading ladies: Zhang Ziyi(Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Michelle Yoeung(Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), and Gong Li. The book was a great read itself. And from the 5 minute preview, the movie looks just as artistic and entertaining. With those 3 actresses on the big screen, I'm sure the acting will be just as wonderful. It's really exciting to see Chinese actors or actresses getting international recognition and I'm sure they will with a movie like this one. I hope everyone gets the chance to watch the new flick, even if (or maybe especially if) you don't know anything about the Geisha culture.
