China and bringing a 3yr old

We are in the pre-planning stage of making our trip to China. Do the tours work well with having children? Our trip is going to be over 12-15 days (maybe less if we are limited- do to having a young child)Any advice. We are also having a hard time planning the must see place-so any advice there is helpful too

It's good to choose private tour instead of group tours taveling with young child, then you will have private car/driver and guide to enjoy a flexible and trouble-free China tour.
