Anyone gone from the end of your cruise in Yichang on to Guilin?
Seems there is an UN airconditioned train leaving at 3:20 in the morning, making 8 stops ..the train from hell!! Are there other options?

Has anyone flown from Yichang to Guilin? When I plug these two cities in the flight check here at travelchinaguide, I get no flights..??

Would appreciate your help

thanks

You can take ferry from Yichang to Chongqing first, and then fly to Guilin. The flight only cost RMB400.
CA4725/4726
every Mon, Wed, and Fri
depart at 21:00 pm and arrive at 21:50 pm

But I already went on cruise TO yichang. I started in Chongqing, cruised to Yichang and now I want to go to Guilin. So don't want to ferry back up stream.

I thought I'd have a better chance getting a cruise out of Chongqing, so I started there.
Now when I end up in Yichang, i want to get to Guilin and haven't found a good way to do that yet...any ideas???

Thanks

Daisy, in thinking about your suggestion to END UP in Chongqing. Would I have just as easy a chance to book a Yangzi cruise out of Yichang to go up river, rather than book out of Chongqing??
I'm not booking ahead, I will just book on the spot when I get there. Figured Chongqing a better place to start.

what is your thought??

Thanks!!!

Or you can take the flights whoes stops include Yichang and/or Guilin. I am not sure whether there have the direct flight from Yichang to Guilin. That is to say, you maybe should change another one midway.
I found this website http://www.travelsky.com/english/index.htm
maybe it can help you.
First you should enter the exact date when you will depart from Yichang.
But sometimes the schedule flight is flexible and changeful.

Hi!
You can take a shuttle bus from Yichang to Wuhan, which only costs RMB 120, and more cheaper than a private car.
And then take flight to Guilin from Wuhan, which is about RMB 780.
And you needn't go up to Chongqing again : D
