Good guidebook/tips for Yangtze region?

HI,

I'm visiting the Yangtze River region for the first time, and I'd love to hear any good recommendations for a guide book, or for inexpensive places to stay in the river towns, like Wushan, Fengjie, and Chongqing.

Hi Novela,
Have a read thru all the tips and reviews for the Yangtze and Chongqing.
There is a good little guidebook of Chongqing Municipality called if I remember correctly
'Introduction to Chongqing' Y35.00 (RMB) 10cm x 20cm in size. Doubt you'll find it outside Cq but it is available at the Airport bookstore on the ground floor at the far right as you head outside. It doesn't have everything but it covers most sights around the province and Cq city with a little detail.
Also avaiable in all good bookstores, ie Xinhua which is located in Jeifangbei (Liberation Monument) in Chongqing.

Accommodation - not much information on the river towns as most people choose to cruise all the way without really stopping. You should however be able to find good hotels in all cities from between Y100- Y300 for a double.
